Sharing A Little Of Our World Through Photography

Kingman has excellent rail service with the Burlington Northern Santa Fe railway going through it with over 100 trains per day. The best part, there is no tie-up of traffic in the city due to railroad underpasses. Now that's planning!

Kingman was named after Lewis Kingman, the locating engineer for the railroad, the man responsible for selecting the location of the roadbed. The town got its start as a small railroad camp for the Atlantic & Pacific Railroad. Surveyor Lewis Kingman named the spot for himself.

Come and take your own photos!
For rail photography, Kingman offers stunning backdrops to highlight your pictures of the many trains that pass through each day.

And the best part, you don't have to wait long between trains.

Beautiful weather, many convenient photography vantage points and easy access makes Kingman the place to go.

Like scenic mountain photography? Kingman is the gateway to exceptional views, and the Kingman Canyon area is just the tip of the iceberg.
